Our Volunteer Team
Our volunteer team is the glue that holds all the different pieces of the Hub together. They are the leaders who are committed to creating a welcoming space, to connecting young adults to each other, and ultimately to see our community know Jesus Christ and make Him known. Our volunteers, who have been part of the Hub for at least 3 months prior to serving, have connected to one or more teams that best suit their gifts and skills. If you’re interested, sign up for a position below!
Without seeking God in prayer, what we do will be ineffective! So for all things prayer, this team is ready to go: pre-service, one-on-one after service, intercession for needs in our community, and more.
We want to communicate our message clearly and creatively. Whether it’s event promotion, graphic design, web development, or video & photo this team is ready to come up with something clear, creative, and Christ-focused!
Our host team are the first people visitors will meet, so we strive to create a welcoming and warm atmosphere, answer any questions they might have about Hub happenings, and help them connect with others! Our hosts are also involved with announcing up and comings from the front weekly. We love our hosts so much they get a fancy HOST lanyard!
These are the “movers and hangers” of the Hub! Showing up a couple hours before each event, the setup team is ready to move chairs, hang signs, push tables, and make the space functional, clean, and ready for ministry. And of course, we can’t forget the cleanup!
A key component to every Hub night is the food. Let’s face it – we love to eat together and catch up on our weeks! And what better way to break that awkward silence than to get your friend a drink. We love our Food team!
We want to celebrate weekly all that Jesus is doing in and through our lives! This team commits to mid-week practices, practicing on their own time, and serving elsewhere at the Hub with the heart of a worshipper.
Come be creative! Produce the best possible atmosphere for worship through sound reinforcement. This includes creating a superior audio mix that meets the mood the pastor/worship leader wants to convey, and supporting the audio needs of the people involved with the service. Ultimately, glorify God through providing excellence in audio services.
Doing stuff with people we care about is fun! So our Events team makes this happen for us. Whether it’s a monthly social, a local service project, a yearly retreat out of the city, or an international short term missions experience this team handles logistics, details, and are the kings and queens of making it happen! These events take relationships and ministry in and out of the Hub to a deeper level.
At the Hub, we connect young adults to small groups because we’re convinced that real growth on happens when Jesus-followers share a common goal: to be and make disciples. We are always looking for small group leaders and hosts to help make this community a reality!
